Just for fun, what's your favorite hl mods? I haven't played but a few of the HL1 mods as I mormally only play the HL2 mods. So, maybe I can get some suggestions on them. I have played most of the HL 2 mods and my favorites are-

I would say my favourite Half-Life 2 would be SMOD Tactical, assuming you allow modifications that don't come with their own maps.
Lets see. Was that Heart Of Evil? Ok-I'll check it out. Is there a part 2 or just the one? I wasn't able to get Steam to play Smod Tactical but I did play Smod 3.5. I think that's the number and yea, it was real good. Ya gotta love the melon launcher and the little hand held animal that needs candy for ammo. lol
Mhhh... I have played just a few mods for HL2, these are the ones I liked:
- Leon's SP Map Pack (the first contribution of Leon to HL2)
- Leon's Coastline To Atmosphere
- Smod (although it's kinda buggy)
- Halloween mod (just because it has new models that are quite funny: zombies turned into pumpkin head monsters)
These are my favorite HL1 mods:
- They Hunger
- Poke 646
- Escape 1 & 2 by DMC
- Case Closed
- Edge of Darkness
- Azure Sheep
- Immersion mod (adds Force Feedback to the game)
- Tron mod (adds HDR/Bloom to the game)
- The ropes (small map-pack but very enjoyable)
I know I'm missing like a ton of cool mods for HL1, but these are some of the best... Oh, and I'm currently playing HL: Decay, pretty cool as well

I just installed Invasion and it really looks good but how do you get through it with no English spoken.I have only played the first 10 minutes and one gaurd spoke English for a minute but that was it. Is there any more English spoken or subtitles at all? Is it possible to get through this not knowing what's being said?
Your list is a good one. I'm just finishing up the HL2 mod, Offshore. This is a huge mod. If you haven't tried this one, you may want too, but bring a lunch, you'll be there a while.
