It even hangs itself on the menu so if there would have been a demo, the numbers sold would have been even lower! As for Portal I think that Valve tried to use that to trick single player gamers to pay full price for the short expansion pack EP2 and if somebody would have noticed in a demo that he didn't like the puzzle idea, it would have meant no buy for the Orange Box in the end. Speaking of which, where are the other TF2 class movies? It really seems to me that Valve is only doing as little as possible to get their sales then afterwards they forget the rest. TF2 is out, who cares about the other movies :(. I think it’s very obvious ;) :
