Regular readers will know that I don’t normally make posts about the site itself but I had to share this with you. I look through my stats at least once a week out of curiosity. I wish I didn’t care about how many visits I get but I do. Besides being useful for deciding on new keywords the stats can sometimes be good for a laugh.
Here are some recent ones. The first one, the title of this post, is a killer.
- adult first person shooters with sex and gore (7 Times!)
- make your own planet (Also 7 times)
- lost my saved half life game
- cave shooters
- i am smiling eagle poster
- plan historical sailing ship modeller download
- engineering infomation
Let’s have a quick look at the last one: “engineering infomation”.
Firstly it’s spelt wrong, secondly I went through 31 Google pages using those terms and couldn’t find a link to me, yet somebody found and visited my page with that search string. Strange huh?
That first one cracks me up (makes me laugh – non native English readers). Maybe I should rename the site to:
www.planet-adult-first-person-shooters-with-sex-and-gore.com
I would love to hear from somebody who used those search terms and find out if they found what they were looking for. At least now when somebody searches for “adult first person shooters with sex and gore” they’ll come straight to me!!
Maybe I’ve misunderstood what my stats mean, if somebody wants to enlighten me I will be happy to learn.
