A simple map where you have to assassinate Dr. Kleiner and then escape.
There are a few versions of the same map included, including a Christmas version.
The map is small and just contains a hosue and garage.

These maps can be used with Half-Life 2, Episode One or Episode Two. I have used the HL2 icon on the header images simply because I felt the install base is larger.
The file also contains four variations of the same map: Day, Night, Snow and Christmas.

not that great but not that bad the fact that you can play the map with different idea/environment add a litte value to it but don’t expect to much from this one

It’s a very limited map, with little to recommend it. It also feels wrong assassinating Dr. Kleiner.

Assassinate Dr. Kliner was discussed during transmission 10435 of Podcast17: http://www.podcast17.com/transmissions/c10435

This one is a bit rough around the edges with all the hallmarks of a first timer, the set designs are basic to say the least with what passes for stairs and wall panel work looking very crude. It’s extremely one dimension play wise just a matter of finding the Dr. and then fighting you way back out. I don’t think that there is enough in the gameplay to warrant playing through more then once no matter what other aspect are changed second or third time through.
I manage to complete this without the suit which you may find more of a challenge and for the better.

Why do we start in a pitch black garage and then have to find the suit? If I were going someplace to assassinate anyone, I would be as prepared as possible beforehand. (Phillip, maybe Dr. Kleiner is an unwilling “guest” of the Combine?)
And why did I find the crossbow afterwards?
It’s something to do for 5 minutes.

I agree with the previous posts. It’s really short, etc.

Hehe, nice to find this old piece of work (I’m Ratchett btw!)
This was actually just a map to test the AI_goal_relation system, it was never really meant to be great. But what ever, it was inspired by the game “Hitman” which my friend used to play alot.
I know the map is all confusing, but i had fun playing through it 100 times. I was actually looking for this map, i had completely removed it from my harddrives, it’s allways nice to find old projects around
I must say, I’ve improved alot on the map making! Tho i’m not really uploading my works anymore.
