Mod not working?
An update by Valve to some Source engines has caused a number of mods to stop working properly and give errors. Please visit my Get Mods Working post for more details.

  2. This is just little demo, i’m disapointed

  3. Not much here just a short beta version with very basic sets and design, not worth a download.

  4. Those screenshots aren’t even in this! That was also so short it was pointless to have.

    Maybe?

Yes, its a not even a beta, more like an alpha. Five maps, about 20 mins play. The developers have set all parameters to difficult, but as there’s not much to do, it’s not difficult. The sets are basic and enemies are few. Looks like there was meant to be much more. The ending says ‘Test Version’. fair enough. The default language is Thai and the installer (exe) and menu is all in Thai. I had to install to a dummy folder, sort out the game folder, then move it to Sierra/HalfLife. Most of the developers effort has gone into the installer and the menu front end, but you can bypass all that in the usual way. Try it if you’re into things Thai :)

    Avoid It!

    EDIT: CosmicElement here.
Horribly short, all difficulty settings are a level above (I guess they game it hardcore over in Thailand), I even saw a Vortigaunt that was stuck in place and didn’t attack (except when it clawed me).
I guess it *is* a test version though, which makes me wonder where the full one is. Also randomly comes with (multiplayer?) maps and custom weapons that jam or misfire and kill you.

  7. Avoid It!

you can find an old version of Battle for Life, beta 1.2 with five playable SP levels included. They are different than in beta 2.0, with much more simple map work, but with much more enemies too :) .
