  1. Phillip says Play It!

This is an interesting release. A simple premise and plenty of action makes this map well worth the effort of playing but it’s not a masterpiece. There are a couple of issues that really should have been corrected before public release, but as the author mentions in the readme they were anxious to move onto the next map. The first issue is the voice acting which is presumably done by the author. He sounds like a teenager but is supposed to be a scientist. The next issue is some graphical errors, screenshot 11 show you the view from getting too close to the door on the upper level.

Putting aside these minor points the gameplay is very challenging and I died a few times, even on easy! The ending is a bit of a let down but you can’t have everything.

Overall, I quite enjoyed this and hope the author releases more work but takes the advice of a few masters; “Keep it small and polish until you have the best map you can make”.

    Play It Now!

Hmm, a bit of fun, but you’re right, it ends a bit abruptly and at least as far as my attempt goes, with a rocket firing tank embedded deep in the big rock wall through an impenetrable big square gate way…..Maps like this are fun though and you really ought to Play it now….(SV & Impulse though, saves time…)@ the author, more please!:)

  3. Maybe?

I’d like to see anyone complete this on hard.

  4. Nevermind. I just did.. man that was tough.

  5. Play It Later

This was fun. I did die once, in the shack.

I’m not exactly sure what was supposed to happen at the end (if anything). I blew up the APC and it crashed. When I reloaded, it didn’t crash so I was able to run around a bit (what, no “thanks?”) and then was abruptly returned to the menu.
