Divinity II – Ego Draconis brings you back to Rivellon, a timeless world of awe and magic, torn and scarred by successions of apocalyptic wars. Ever since the Great War ended, the Order of the Dragon Slayers has had eyes only for their number one enemy: the Dragon Knights who killed their Divine hero.
Thanks to BlueWolf72 and CDV USA I am pleased to announce I have 3 copies to giveaway! Great start to 2010, huh?
More details about the game can be found here: Divinity II – Ego Draconis.
To be in with a chance to win you must be a registered member of PlanetPhillip.com and have a minimum of 10 proper reviews, including recommendation images, by 9:00PM 13 January 2010. (I decided what is a proper review – but let’s just say that one or two sentences isn’t a proper review.)
To win, just post a comment on this post and I’ll check you have the minimum number of reviews and that’s it. I will select 3 random winners on Wednesday. Just make sure your registration has the correct email!
Good Luck.

what a great break from smashing combine, it would be to teach some dragons some manors. if i won a copy, to make the game fair, i think i would use the side of my sword, like a crowbar, to teach them over grown lizards a lesson.
11 January 2010 at 12:45 am
hrm. I have no idea if I have enough reviews. I’m pretty sure I’m close though. If not, it’d only take a few more to qualify, but how do we find out if we’re above or below the cutoff point?
11 January 2010 at 8:33 pm
hay, I guess that I have 10 or more proper reviews, let’s win a game
13 January 2010 at 11:23 pm

13 January 2010 at 11:58 pm
Why? It is released last week, and I’m downloading it right now? Is there something I don’t know?
14 January 2010 at 12:01 am
I’m joking that it takes ages to download. ¬¬
14 January 2010 at 12:02 am

Thanks Phillip. I felt kinda cheesy when I was putting up a few extra reviews to make sure that I qualified, but then I realized “Isn’t that the point?” Heck, what would PP.com be without the recommendations and the reviews to support them, and isn’t the point of this giveaway to help stimulate that?
I actually copied and pasted a few personal recommendations I had given on various other sites, usually just to single individuals rather than to a group as a whole, but for some reason I had never gotten around to cleaning them up to post on PP.com. This was definitely a good chance to take care of that oversite.
I’m actually a little disappointed in the level of response this giveaway got. I was hoping that this would help spun more people into taking the effort to give some real reviews for the mods on this site, but I guess can’t really complain too much, since it obviously increased my odds. Hopefully this giveaway will help convince people to take the effort of reviewing more mods so that they’ll be prepared for any potential future giveaways.
14 January 2010 at 12:08 am
Amen to that!
I think activity has been a little low recently. Plus there has been a ginormous flow of contests also. I think everyone won something XD
Though I’m definitely going to get my butt in gear and start writing some reviews when I get the chance.
14 January 2010 at 12:19 am
Sorry – I’ve been away playing Stalker Shadow Of Chernobyl – Inexcusable I know, so I have only just noticed this.
I wouldn’t win anyway, ‘cos the only thing I ever won was a box of Maltesers when I was about 13 yrs old, and that was a very long time ago, And I’ve never liked Maltesers (that’s the choccy things – not the islanders)————–
Anyhow, keep up the good work Phillip – TTFN!

free stuff is sweet. but this game is horrible. my friend let me barrow it and after 40 minutes i decided to delete it and never play it again. its one of those games where the graphics are awesome and the game play is just awful. If you’re retarded and were born on an amish farm it might be ok. I don’t believe anyone here is or was though, so you all will probably dislike it too. Divinity 2 is worth about $5 imo, anything more then $10 is a total rip off. My buddy went apeshit once he played cuz he spent $50, hahah. the end.
15 January 2010 at 9:45 pm
About what I expected, to be honest, but since I got it for free, no worries for me!
15 January 2010 at 7:38 pm
I have been checking out pictures for Divinity II and it looks fantastic. Since I can’t afford to purchase it, I would love to win it.
15 January 2010 at 7:42 pm
The giveaway is over, winners names have been posted. Sorry, maybe next time.
