Mission: 500 miles of the Coast of South Africa is an old surveillance base first established by the French. We took over after the french empire fell during the Vietnam War and restored some of it’s facilities. It is today a CIA\NASA project mapping space. During a Marine Corp drill on the nearby islands we suddenly lost contact with SkyBase.

Overlay: The basecomplex is established on two main islands. One part is up on top of a mountain, the other is down on ocean level. They are linked by an old supply road which runs through three other islands. They are again connected by new concrete
bridges. Although suplies are delivered by chopper to SkyBase, the road has been kept in good shape as it is the only escape route to DockBase, which is the logistic part of the base.

What happened?: Five Marine Corp troops were conducting skirmishes on the islands when NASAs uplink from skybase was broken. We tried to contact both SkyBase and DockBase with little luck. This was five days ago.

Your part: Start with a paraglider drop from a V22. Navigate to Skybase. We won’t risk a Blackhawk crew and anti-terror troops before YOU have investigated and found out what happened. Commandeer a vehicle and drive down to DockBase, before you either wait for troops or escape with a boat to the nearby ship USS Mickey.

Note: Due to the high mountains radio contact can be broken. Use field radios in SkyBase or DockBase.
