Low Ammo – Half-Life 2

Single Player First Person Shooter Maps and Mods for Half-Life 1, 2 and Episodes 1, 2 and 3

A very plain and simple indoor area where you have to kill some headcrabs and some Metrocops. Very clearly a first map.

    Phillip says Avoid It!

I get the occasional email asking me why I bother adding these types of maps, especially if I add the Avoid It! recommendation image immediately, well, one of the site’s objective is to list and review EVERY playable* single player map and mod released. Even if they are terrible.

Now onto the map. It’s just a one brick room with some headcrabs and Metrocops around the corner.

*I use playable because from 2009 I will be retroactively removing maps that do not have a least one weapon and one enemy.

The “List everything” approach is a good one because it means if I find a map somewhere on the Net, I can check here and find out a little about it before I bother installing it.

Or create a ‘Other Stuff’ catagory for maps that don’t fit

It’s not about organization because there is already a “Showcase” category, it’s about I want to “play” maps not just walk through them.

They made be useful from a pure mapping sense but I want to steer away from that. Anyway, other “mapping” sites cover them.

Definitely not worth it, clearly a first attempt as Phillip said. I’m not sure why people release things like this, but who am I to judge; when I was a kid I released some pretty shitty maps.

Ok as a first time work this might even pass but that is a block map, with not even lighting effects well put. THis took space and stolen lifetime from my HD and pc playing this bunch of cr4p. Not again. Improve because you can do better.
