The scientists at Black Mesa have invented a shrinking machine. They are shrinking Xen creatures in order to make them easier to control.
Two shrunken Gonarchs have escaped and are breeding in the civilian community. The Marines have once again been called in to ‘contain’ the problem and eliminate any witnesses.

Okay, so I am nearly 7 years late adding this mod to the site but it was almost worth the wait!
I love these types of mods – nothing too ambitious, a simple idea, well executed and fun to play.
Shrinking players is not new in gaming but not every mod we play has to introduce something new.
The level design was used well to along the player plenty of tactical options and everything seemed to be the right proportion.
Sometimes it’s the little things that make mods special and for me the switchable TV was cool, as was the sink that filled up when you fell into it.
The penultimate battle was more fun and challenging than the Gonarch “boss” ending but that’s cool.
The final scenes are also fun to watch and the way the “the End” was created is another one of those little touches I mentioned earlier.
I have given this a Personal Favourite because it has everything I like in a mod: A simple story/setting, little details, fun AND challenging to play and it’s not too long.
Definitely worth 10 or so minutes of your time. Don’t shrink from this challenge!

Not once, no slow downs or anything. Are you using with Steam or without?

With steam

Strange, same as me.

Fairly short but very fun to play. The “shrinked-gameplay” has been done before, such as in USS Darkstar and various Sven Co-op maps, but it’s still an enjoyable experience.
Strongly recommended.
PS. I didn’t experience any freezes.

This map ticked me off because your main weapons (shotgun and mp5) both suck at long range, and you do a lot of long range shooting due to the nature of the map. I mostly used the pistol because of this, but I suppose the RPG was meant to compensate.
Still, clever level design and worth a look for the fun of it.

Simply awesome fun little mod. I do wish we got to nuke the gonarch
And play the guitar.
Extremely cleverly done, very nice placement of dangers, fun to explore. My only issue really was the controls, ‘turn’ and ‘strafe’ were mixed for me and I never turn.

Don’t I have a good taste for mods or what?
The mod works also fine without Steam. For those of you which may experience crashes feel free to try it with the WON version of Half-Life should you own it.
Exccellent mod.

Awww.. this was fun! Toy Story is greeting lol
Altho yes, the idea is not new it did make fun to play, the only critic I have is that it’s way too short, you can complete it in like 5-10 mins, depending on your skills..
Nonetheless, it’s worth playing!

I remember playing Sin a while ago, and I think there was a multiplayer map (the only one) that stood out for me, when you play as a tiny person in a what is merely one room, but ends up making this one room seem so incredibly huge and interesting, like your seeing a new world.
Its the first time I think I was impressed with something very much ahead of the gaming ideas. I think DNF has tried doing it though the game wasn’t to good.
Its short, yeah it made me a little sad to finish it but I also think that it was worth the time. If you’ve played good mods before, this one will surprise you.
