More like a total conversion (TC) than a HL mod, this looks similar to "Afraid of monsters" mod, but since I never really liked such (!) horrorstyle my opinion is again almost devastating.
I do like the horrorgenre for movies and games, but not such things like "The Grudge" or someting, I do prefer stuff like "Resident Evil", "SAW", "Halloween".
But this here hmm.. is like a mix of "Grudge", "Shutter Island" and yeah... "Aom"

Oh by the way, I didn't finish it, but accordingly to the screenshots above here I was very close to do so, but unfortunately my HL was screwed up and so I did delete all mods when reinstalling HL...

Pro's:
-Many new textures, models, sounds etc.
-Oppressive atmosphere
-Sudden and surprising scripts

Con's:
-Way too dark for my taste, if only the flashlight radius would be normal HL size
-Sort of monotonic colors
-Less combat, weapons, action at all - just creepy atmosphere

Personally I think this is what Afraid of Monsters should have been (albeit could have been longer), While short it provides creepy looking graphics, a story about slipping into a hallucinated dream where you have to run from monsters. The only weapon is a knife and its best that way since it only does a decent job at keeping one zombie from you at a time.
Every scary games gets less scary if you can haul a huge arsenal and blow everything away.
You only meet 3 zombies all one at a time so it does the trick.
This mod could have been so much scarier if you had to face 2 or 3 at once and that would have been exciting/scary trying to get passed them all.
The puzzles are easy as it only requires to search well till you find the key to open a door and theres only about 3 instances. It already is a step above Afraid of Monsters because you can actually see everything, although it does have a dark tone due to those either rusty of dirty looking textures that give the place a nightmarish feel and lighting is used well to give the necessary areas the foreboding before we meet a ghoulish creature.
I also like the slow burning nature of the mod before we first meet one. This could have been great if it where longer, say if it where as long as Afraid of Monsters then I would say this mod could have been a clear winner.

As you exit the doctor's office through the double doors, directly in front of you at the end of the hall is a rusty door. Next to the rusty door is a blue cabinet with a pipe ascending from it partway to a slight ledge below a ventilation shaft.

I enjoyed playeing this one like the first one that has, except the content and the ambiance, a totally different layout as the first one.
it's really something different through it's ambiance, content and features not always evident to find the puzzle but it add certainly something to the gameplay. It's not perfect but it's unique so you should really try it ;)

In my opinion, much efford has been put in this mod. Even if it's quite short, I like the usage of the features which the Paranoia-"Engine" offers: Bumpmaps detail-textures, flashlight and other graphic-effects are adding a lot atmosphere...

I founds this mod very limited in its gameplay, set designs and content, it’s very one dimensional with little action consisting only of a few not so well remodeled zombies.
In the main this is a puzzle orientated mod but without the mind-blowing puzzle routines of say The Trap or Prison. Instead we have fairly logical puzzles that normally one solves first of second attempt, which is the type I like. I can’t imagine that this mod will fully satisfy any group of gamers, it’s not scary enough, it’s has no combat, it wont challenge the puzzle lovers and has nothing new of interest. Best that I can say is that if you looking for 20 minutes of un-taxing gameplay to wind down the day, then this may fit the bill. It’s also bug free which is a bit of a bonus these days.

This played much better that the last one, and a bit longer! Now that I have my new Logitech gamming keyboard with lighted keys, this was great to play in the dark! Nice one for Holloween!! :-)

I'm not sure its longer although it may be a little longer.I think some of the maps were redone and the whole thing cleaned up.I also don't think its as dark as the first one.Still fun to play if you like this type of style.
