Right before the disastrous invasion of the UAC’s Mars outpost, priority cargo was shipped directly from Delta Level 2 to the former medical research and testing center, the Omega Research Facility on Earth. It contained a live specimen that the research teams had brought back from their expedition into the realm that was beyond the teleporter.

The creature was dubbed “revenant” by the scientists, chiefly because the only description of it is a reanimated skeleton that seems to have somehow been brought back from the dead. Study of the creature has been difficult, and several staff have been injured. The experiment is extremely aggressive and seems to attack on sight.

UAC HQ has received a distress call from the facility in the early hours of the evening. There is a code red, the experiment is loose. Last reports say the facility is under lockdown and the situation is under control, but those reports were over an hour ago. You have been assigned to go to the facility and evaluate the situation. Containment is vital.

I highly recommended this awesome massive two level ive downloaded the other night & played through it 3 times including this morning.
spoliers ahead alert!
1st you find yourself out in a courtyard & be sure to look around for goodies before proceeding inside the base. Once inside & down the elevator the level design makes you pause to have a good look around the whole levels atomsphere from the working fans shadows to the vent exhaust fumes make the 1st map shine.
Gameplay you get the pistol shotgun SMG & grenades & end of the level Plasma Gun The Shotgun is modified to shot 5 rounds instead of 8. Enemies conside to zombies & zsec guards & a few demons. Ammo is kinda on the heavy side but once you take on the bigger enemies towards the end of level one you understand also health is moderate from packs & machines & armor is limited be sure to search for it.
Blasting zombies & demons through this level is a blast you even get taunted by the main enemy once in awhile which is scary tho the end level fight with the Hellknights is confined & shouldve had more health packs in that area i suppose u could make a mad dash for the Plasma Gun lol anyways the massive size of the 1st level will take you about 15 to 20 minutes unless your like me & admire the craftmanship of the level design & linger longer.

Just finished playing it. It took me about an hour to beat and was totally worth it. The storyline was interesting and the level design was good. There was no flashlight in the two maps. It wasn’t needed but i would have liked to have it in the rotation. Only found one minor clipping error at the start of the map. Def worth the download and time

I noticed one clipping error on level one where a zombie scientist crawls out of a air vent you can go inside this vent which leads to nowhere but if you follow it to its end & then stand up the clipping error shows up as you can see no walls within the vent shaft.

A question to the Author of this fine Map-Pack how do you find the two Number Code Codes for The Level two lab that has the two wall pictures of Ship Roll & Boobs lol i couldnt get inside but saw a Plasma ammo inside & Then Level one with the Number Code on the wall near the air vent that holds the Chaingun ammo?

As for the code to the panel, when you start the first map and go into the facility, go down the elevator and through that room into the corridor. Keep an eye out around the locked door near where the guy is laying, there’s the code to the panel. That should get you started.

Sure made a difference as alternate route with ammo a plenty.
As for Level Two opinion review The 2nd map is more Industrail Base feel to it & of course the action doesnt let up & hardly any breaks inbetween.
My only problem was at the start of Level 2 when the mission objective comes up the framerates drop for a few seconds.It happened again when i was in a long corridor fighting Zsec guards 1 with a pistol 2nd & 3rd grunts had shotgun & SMG & theres a explosive barrel nearby them & of course the windows shatter when u blow it up & so does the framerate which for a second goes sluggish.
The Final Battle is worth it & the secret was a homage like the secret room at the end of Quake2 of course paying tribute to the authors friends.
I found no clipping or texture misalinements & mowing down a FireBrand with your choice weapon is awesome.
I Highly Recommend Omega Research Facility it has well over an hour of Doom3 singleplayer action we come to love & i salute those who continue to Map-Make these Mods even if the game is years old I never got bored & Kudos to Ice Weasel Hope to see your next Mod in the future :))

The start of level framerate drop is always going to happen because that’s the point when Doom is spawning all the dead bodies and moveable objects. Unfortunately aside from taking a lot of them out there’s no way around this as far as I know.

The second one is because of the breakable glass. If you explode the barrel it will batter the physics for a while as thousands of pieces go flying. But I left it in because it looked cool

I’m certainly impressed by the high quality of level design here; I might be wrong, but I think this is the first D3 custom map that features such cool shader FX.
Although a little laggy in some parts, it’s rather playable; adittionally, the industrial horror based atmosphere of this map-pack is the best. Keep Up the good work!!

Ice Weasel, now that you’ve shown your talent as a mapper to the world, you might want to make a Zombie mod (no demons) with the same industrial atmosphere, similar to “Resident Evil 1″ (the movie, not the game).

This map has been already released on PlanetPhilip a while ago. Maybe later I will post the link, but w/e (Or did I got that into the Doom3 planet? W/e).

Pretty good design. heavy map, which I mean that it will not bore you after all. Well placed enemies and you do receive a flashlight (At least works for me). Average gameplay time of about 45 ~50 minutes. Not hard, not much difficulty puzzle but you prolly gonna get lost around the beginning of the map in a elevator part. That´s that, if you still did not played this …
