This site covers single player maps and mods for the Half-Life series of games.
Filecloud, an old file partner, has closed and a lot of the older maps and mods currently don't have working downloads.
Please accept my apologies and don't hesitate to contact if you can't find a working download via a web search.

I think this is one of the best mods I have played even though the opening travels through the complex seemed to take forever. I did have to use noclip a couple of times.

I’m sure I’d feel the same if the mod didn’t crash for me during an early map. I’ll give it another go though.

P.I.Z.D.E.C. is originally a russian cuss word, similar to the english-word FUBAR. When things get bad, PIZDEC is a probable term the player could yell when playing this mod.
You start out leaving your vehicle (a white Black-Mesa S.U.V. with a “Black Mesa” logo in it’s hood). The Black Mesa entrance there, is not similar to the original game. You don’t get a tramride in this one, but you actually get down to your “post” by getting a lot of elevators, going through many glass doors guarded by “barneys” and takes a ride to hell, literally, by the quantity of elevators you need to catch to get underground.
Enemies here are well placed through out the map, not bad and still not difficult, so it has a very equilibrated gameplay. The good thing here is that not all enemies are aliens, as actually happens in the beggining of original HL1, which kind of causes annoyance due to that.
Mapping is not bad either. It is above average, definitely, and is in almost all times inspired in Black-Mesa and it’s locations, plus some very interesting sequences (when you get under water and you see a barney and a scientist behind a glass window in a waiting room, complaining about their situation).
If you want a short mod, with about 1 hour of play, you can play this later.
5-word-review:
Interesting action with equilibrated gameplay.

Well… if you remove the C and replace the E with an A, you that would mean something like “V4g1n@”
I censored… thru 1337 XD

some parts of the game copy original HL’s layout very closely. But other than that there is ample combat, sequences and intrigue to be of interest. I recommend this mod without logging in.
