  1. I hope you guys enjoy the map, I sure did. It is in beta stage so everything isn’t perfect. It’s a fun map to play. And it has some machines you can torture zombies with. Have fun!

  2. Play It Later

Kinda short, but fun little map! I still like smacking the zombies with the crowbar!! Only had one crash, played it thru twice and same place (forcefield fence) Too bad ya lost intrest, I wish I had the talent to go this far!! ;-)

  3. Avoid It!

Crashed at the force field too. Tried many times, many ways to get around. Always stopped there. too bad

  4. Joe, When ya get to the force field, don’t go near it , stay to the right wall in the tunnel and go to the next door! There is nothing past the force field! It won’t crash then! (at least for me it didn’t)

  5. It is a *BETA* and MAY crash at some points. Theres no need to be rude, Joe. Theres nothing after the forcefield anyway. Think of it as a fancy way of ending the map. :) I have no idea what makes the map crash at that point.

  6. Theres no need to be rude, Joe.

I don’t believe Joe was being rude. I do think it[s unfair to label it Too Buggy. as you pointed out I labelled it Beta, so that’s a clear indication things might not be perfect. It also crashes right near the end. One crash at the end doesn’t make a Beta too buggy. One crash at the beginning does.

  7. a real shame that it is for ep2, what i don’t have (anymore). i noticed this after it tried it severel times and did get the error message about not having enough memmory(? i have more then enough, but ok).
so, my mistake. screens do look good though!!!

  8. @PlanetPhillip “It also crashes right near the end. One crash at the end doesn’t make a Beta too buggy. One crash at the beginning does.”

It doesn’t crash near the end, it crashes at the end. That’s why I said “It could be a fancy way of ending the map”

  9. Play It Later

Hi. I got problem with episode two. PC is good but episode 2 runs bad bad. Is there tweak for Hoyy to play smooth mod? PC goes naughty. 30 FPS. Hoyy stay sad. I have 1 Gigabyte ram and 256MB card. Hoyy try the mat_dxlevel 81 command and still goes bad bad. But mod not bad, Hoyy pc is bad. Hoyy is happy to rate mod play it later because Hoyy think it’s worth the try.Hoyy

    Maybe?

Interesting add! A short yet fun title, the mapping empty space near the forcefield is a pain though. Flash your light and BOOM goes the game. Overall well made, a tad too short though. Hope to see more releases from you.

  11. Think Twice

I am surprise that the author as spent time hear answering posts, I am not a mapper put I would have thought it relatively easy to but an alternative ending other then the crash, any caption would have done.

Until the crash point this was a promising map, ok the sets were a bit tight but well done textures and content wise. I cant help wondering why the author made and allowed it to be released, has it stands the map is a big let-down to anyone that plays it, and due to that I would not recommend it.

  12. You misunderstand, It’s not a way to end the map. That is the end of the map, but theres a bug I can’t fix where the map crashes at the end. This was the only big piece of reasonable releasable content I could release for this crashed mod.

Since everyone is moaning about the crash, still. I’ll dig up the map myself and try to the best of my ability to fix it.

  13. Maybe?

I’m giving it a Maybe only because of the length (short) and the ending crash.

I don’t know that you need to fix it, if you can find a way to end it before then. Maybe save “fixing” it for a hopeful sequel! :) I think you want us to go into the last room, so we can get the tantalizing glimpse into the next room (which we can’t get to–I was so intrigued I noclipped to see where the vent came from; sadly, nowhere at this point).

If it were longer, I may have given it a PIL, even with a crash at the end…
