  1. Phillip says Avoid It!

It’s weird, just weird. I had to cheat and I am sure I missed portions of the map. There are portals that jump you to strange areas and then back again. Weird.

    Visuals
Simple and plain. Nothing worth mentioning.

    Gameplay
Weird. Some shooting , some puzzles solving, some watching crucified Metrocops.

    Layout/Design
Weird. All over the place, wrong levels at wrong heights.

    Summary
Sorry, but this isn’t worth your time unless you like weird.

    5 Words Or Less Review

    Don’t waste your time.

  2. Fool that I am, I’ll download and play anything HL2.
After the 2nd AI disabled I could not be bothered.
Without breaking the rules, I cannot do a recommendation image.
Probably just as well because if there was an ‘Awful – do not download’ I would have used it.

  3. Avoid It!

Yay I finished it. I can tell this, stay away as far as you can. I said same things for some other mods too, so I need to improve it to be fair. This mod doesn’t deserve any attention and every bit it takes in your harddrive is a sin. I think that’s a fair review.

    Techically doesn’t deserve any review.

When Phillip told don’t waste your time, I thought “Come on, it can’t be that bad.” And I was right it’s not that bad, it’s worse.

    Avoid It!

i happen to like weird games, movies etc. however this weird map doesn’t work. did someone seriously enter this in for a competition and expect to win. i gave up on this when i got to the next map. the first map has a number pad in order to open a gate. though your never given a number to open it. least not what i could find.

then when you leave that map to enter the next map. you start the next map by falling and taken heavy damage. at no point had i seen a med kit, etc. this followed by crossing a badly built rope bridge. which i had to jump inorder to get off it. this map only got worse from there on.

also there seems to be issues with AI being disabled. i know i was warned but i couldn’t resist playing a weird map. maybe Phillip next time say broken rather than weird. :)

    • Actually only thing that worked in that map was keypad. The code was on the floor written by blood or something like blood. I’m surprised as hell that it worked. But nevermind, it’s not even close to enough to save the day for this map.

OK – I’m through the gate, killed the combine in the “arena” where all the dead headcrabs are -

    What’s next?

      C’mon – somebody – a clue please.

I’ve tried everything I can think of but cannot move on from this “arena” place.

I know the comments say it’s naff, but I want to make up myown mind

      • You won’t pass that area without cheating I guess. Probably there is problem with the triggers, or there are no triggers at all. Try “noclip”.

  6. Avoid It!

I was warned, but curiosity got the better of me ( even after viewing the screen shots ) This is BSP map is badly broken ! And from what I experienced, the author has absolutely NO imagination and creativity..( piece of advice to who ever did this, DON’T quit your daytime job ) WASTE OF TIME !

    Maybe?

The above comment was a bit harsh, we all have to start somewhere, so I would say this to the author, keep practicing and get your missions beta tested before releasing them.

    • Are you serious? You think this map can be saved with beta testing?

I know we all improve eventually, but we usually don’t release test maps, let alone entering a competition with them. This map has no excuse, it’s just waste of time.

  8. Avoid It!

Even if you want to try every HL2 map and mod out there, this probably isn’t worth trying.

As Jasper said, I got the AI Disabled bug every time I reloaded. I had the trigger bug in the arena area so had to noclip. I think the next section worked, mostly, the rest thankfully didn’t take very long.
