[...] Secret Lab Assault (HL2) [...]

I got confused at first because I thought I was a rebel defending the base and killed all the Combine only to find the rebels killed me!
Once3 I worked out whose side I was on things got a little easier, although those Vortigaunts pack a mighty punch, be careful you don’t want to get hit twice.
Once inside the base you need to unlock the weapons store and stock up before you amke your way into the base itself.
Things go smoothly until….well, let’s just say that things don’t go as expected.
I had seriously trouble with the water and finding the correct way out but that was due to my technique not the design itself.
Even though I died two or three times on easy I would recommend playing this on Normal or above to get a real challenge, escpecially laetr on.
As with most maps this size it’s fun to play but really needs to be part of something larger to be really enjoyable.

hmm… yeah, I dunno about this one.
I was really looking forward to having something to play and the size looked like it might offer some decent time in that regard, and it even started to show some promise at the beginning, but between the scam job on the low-timer flashlight and splshing around in the dark with vents that don’t line up after you raise the water level, I just gave up.
I just couldn’t get past the vents after I let the water in, and one of my biggest pet peeves is vents that don’t line up with the entry level of the floor or whatever.
Who knows? It might be worth a shot past that point, but all I got out of it was frustration.

I had a lot of trouble with those. I worked out that I needed to start far underwater and move up quickly. Although the author should have made it easier.

I played this and I’m taking damage for no reason right after coming of the airduct and just before diving into the water

You misunderstand the meaning of source. It means the place I first learnt about your mod, not the author. I have updated the main post to include your link.

I finally gave this one up. Having experienced all the issues and frustrations posted above, I decided it just was not worth the effort.

Better than I thought it would be. Worth playing, definitely. Download and save it for anotherday.
I played the maps the wrong way around and played ‘out’ first. That’ll be me.
Play ‘IN’ first.

in the radioactive room, screenshot 9, open the valve on the floor – VVV quickly!
Sorry forgot to add that in the last comment

The water/vent area really got me. What was with the toxic section of the floor??? It might have been creative, but it really annoyed me. (A visual clue would have helped–like having the toxic waste texture, but that may have been what the author was trying to avoid.) Between that and not being able to get in the vent that I finally noticed, I spent so much time there that I finally noclipped through the vent.
Other than that, it was fun.
