This is a slightly humorous mappack, consisting of 7 maps. You start the mod by visiting the toilet and then you go to your commanding Officer to receive your orders. Upon your return the base has been taken over by Black Ops. Save the base and even the money! Sounds like fun. Enjoy.

Not working with Steam? It’s complaining about unable to find map “b1m0″ for me.
6th January 2008
working here for me.All files into the gearbox folder.
6th January 2008
Same thing here as #1, typed “map b1m0″ and it wasen’t there! Maybe not a Steam map?? I’ll load my non Steam OPF and try it.
6th January 2008
Mine is via steam and worked fine.I didn’t even rename the pake file to 0 like I’ve had to do other times.
6th January 2008
I’ve tried both versions of OPF, won’t on either! “map change failed: ‘b1m0′ not found on server” this is the message I get with Steam! I think I need another cup of coffee!!

Your putting it in opposing force\gearbox and not half life\gearbox like the readme says are you? You could also rename the pak file to pak0.pak and try that.
6th January 2008
Yeah, renaming it to “pak0.pak” worked just fine. Thanks andy.

This is a strange one! There is only 1 OPF folder in my Steam dir, and buy its self it runs fine(the game not the map) in my Sierra dir it’s Sierra\Half-life\gearbox and thats it! Now my Steam dir says \opposing force\gearbox and there were no pak files listed until I put this map in! Hmmmm, I’ll just have to try again, I’m a persistant old Dog!!! Thanks for the help anyway!!

If there were no pak files in your gearbox folder to start then rename it to pak0.pak
I believe it looks for maps in an order through paks so if no pak0 it won’t find it.I allready had a pak0 from another mod so this one worked.

AHHH! andyb, you saved the day again! Works fine now! It’s almost like getting .RAR files out of sequence. I wrote this down in my log book. Thanks again!

Finaly got to play this map, not to bad at all, kinda short! The drill SGT reminded me of my days at Fort Knox Ky. during basic training(nice guy). Too bad there isn’t a sniper rifle and a good machinegun in the HL2 series, would make for better shots at the Combine. All in all an enjoyable map!

I seem to have similar problems to some posts above.
I don’t have a “halflife\gearbox” folder – only an “opposiningforce\gearbox” folder.
It doesn’t work in “opposingforce\gearbox” – I know ‘cos I tried it.
Do I have to create a folder called “halflife\gearbox” to put the files in?

Sorted!!!!!!!
I put the files in “opposingforce\gearbox” and changed “pak1.pak” to “pak0.pak” and it at least recognises the map now-
So I am going to play it – wish me luck

The two english links here are dead. Only the russian one has a download that works. Anywhere else we can get the eng version?
