There are new sounds, music and textures.. One claimed special effect is, that you can see the snow falling in some levels. There are also tanks and other effects.

Okay, I managed to get this to work on a standalone installation of Half-Life. To answer your question “Should I play it?” Not unless you are a hardcore half-Life SP player. The weapons are OK but the maps just don’t provide enough challenge or eye candy. The arm of the player is definitely undersized and on some of the weapons it doesn’t fit properly, see the images below for an example. As with many amateurish maps the proportions are a little strange.

You will also find the strangest looking elevators ever; they even have cupboard doors to exit from. There definitely were a few nice pieces; I especially liked the cable/one-man tram area. Unfortunately it seems as though the mappers have tried to use as many different textures as possible, as evidenced by two adjoining rooms switching between bricks, floor and ceiling.

I didn’t finish the mod because I came to a door that required a key, that I had already collected but it wouldn’t open. I had a good look around again and tried “Noclip” but that didn’t work so I gave up. There are too many other better mods to play to waste time on this one.
