Play an HECU Marine in seven distinct operations.

Visit different sections of the Black Mesa Research Facility, some of which featured in Half-life, Blue Shift & Opposing force!

You and your squad have got some serious work to do – GET TO IT SOLDIER!

Starting in one of the Combine pods, you suddenly find yourself dropped and free. Don’t hang around too long though otherwise you’ll get caught again.

You best bet is to keep running and kill everything in your path. There’s talk of a working Jalopy on the other side of the train station.

You wake up in a room. Adjoining it are other rooms and guess what? There are zombies in them. Keep going from room to room until you find the escape.

You find yourself in what looks like a prison but it’s much more industrial than most. Clearly you need to escape and that is easier said than done.

You get to leave the prison and feel the fresh air on your face but not for too long. Keep the faith as you will eventually see the light of day again, but you might wish you hadn’t.

The Evil normally maps for CS:S but decided to try his hand at some HL2. Th action takes place in a large Combine facility with plenty of walkways and huge drops.

There are possibly more Combine Elite Guards in these two shortish maps than in the whole of the Half-Life series. No, really, I’m serious.

There are over 35 maps included, most with combat.

Starting on what seems to be some form of artificial island, you need to keep working your way through the complex until a pod comes to rescue you.

There are a number of small puzzles along the way, as well as some interesting combat.

You go deeper and deeper into the complex until one final battle. Can you survive?

Here are all the entries for my HunterVille mapping competition. I would like to thank everybody who entered.

I consider it a HUGE success and as you will see when you play the maps, the quality and ideas were truly amazing. I had real trouble picking a winner and I suppose in many ways, that’s a great position to be in. I feel some pride in thinking that my competition has encouraged the mappers to make and release these maps.

Starting on a moving “train” you follow your instincts to each new location.

Explore and don’t rush into any area without a good look around.

A first map where you work your way through various rooms.

Starting out in some form of storage or industrial area, you need to make you way to the central shaft.

There, you may be able to effect your escape.

Set in an abandoned underground car park, you must fight the never-ending attack of various headcrabs.

However, all is not lost because you have a friendly Rollermine to assist you. Good Luck!

“The Game Master’s Lair challenges the player with three “Classic Game” Puzzles inspired by Milton Bradley’s Simon Game, ATARI’s Breakout, and the game show “Let’s Make a Deal.”

The Level is intended to fit within the Half-Life universe, but showcase unique gameplay atypical of a combat oriented First Person Shooter. The player is armed with only the basic physics cannon and must solve each puzzle to advance. The level’s difficulty must be accessible to all skills levels.”

This is a cinematic portfolio piece. You and Alyx must support Echo Team in their attempt to attack Outpost 16.

Things don’t go quite the way you or they expected.

You have action and some puzzles to deal with, oh and don’t hang around looking at the beautiful view, if you linger you die!

Tired of hearing about mods that claim they are going to re-create the HL2 leaked beta? NO? Then is mod is absolutely, definitely, probably, maybe, possibly for you or maybe somebody you know, or a friend of somebody you know.

The first thing you need to realize about this mod is DON’T TAKE IT SERIOUSLY! It’s laughing at other mods, so sit back, get a cool drink, a pair of very dark sunglasses and play until you drop.

You wake up and find your cell door open. Do you sit quietly and wait for a guard or do you try and escape? Hell! What kind of stupid question is that? GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE!

Of course, it’s not as simple as finding a key and walking out into the bright sunshine.

Imagine this: A warehouse over flowing with crates, but not just ordinary crates, oh no! Crates that have different attributes, floating, burning, exploding etc.

The question is do you have the necessary patience and skill to destroy all the crates. Oh, did I mention there is over 1000 crates. Good luck!

You start in a pit with two crawling zombies and a Stalker. Can you find the way out? If you can then more zombies await you.

Your brother is in the Resistance but you prefer a more concilitary approach.

Unfortunately your brother is arrested by the Combine and tortured until he revealed some rebel secrets.

here we go again. Another prison escape. This time you get to use the Gravity Gun!

I hope you can swim, because it starts with a fall into some deep and dark water.

After that, things become a little easier, asssuming you don’t mind heights.

AT 30,000 FEET… you are almost 6 miles (9.7 kilometers) above sea level. The human body is not made for these conditions. Temperatures are can plummet to -60F (-51C), the brain is starved for oxygen and each step is a new experience in pure agony. It’s difficult to breathe. It’s difficult to think. It’s difficult to move. And you still have to endure another 444 feet (0.14 kilometers) to get to the peak. So much for the good news.

This mod continues from the end of Pyramid and sets the player in a world where the sea is rising.

You encounter almost all of Half-Life 2′s enemies and a great outdoor area.

There is some interesting backtracking and even a bonus map if you are lucky.

This is a single player map made for SMC Mapping Competition 4. The theme was Mars.

In this map you find yourself in a laboratory where something has gone horribly wrong.

Find Eli and do what he tells you to do.
