Just remember this: there is always away forward, keep exploring.

Looking for something that makes no sense? This could be it.

Looking for something that requires quick reactions and delicate touch? This could be it.

Looking for something that is just plain crazy? This is definitely it!

The rebels have set up a special base within some canyons, hoping the Combine will come rushing through.

The objective of the base is to stop as many Combine soldiers from passing as possible.

If more than 10 pass then you have failed.

Play an HECU Marine in seven distinct operations.

Visit different sections of the Black Mesa Research Facility, some of which featured in Half-life, Blue Shift & Opposing force!

You and your squad have got some serious work to do – GET TO IT SOLDIER!

You find yourself in a barn, with the objective of getting some Combine plans and then getting back again. “Easy in, Easy out”, as people like to say. But of course, it’s never that way. “Difficult In, even more difficult out”.

Good luck and be sure to really explore, you may find some hidden weapon caches!

Starting in one of the Combine pods, you suddenly find yourself dropped and free. Don’t hang around too long though otherwise you’ll get caught again.

You best bet is to keep running and kill everything in your path. There’s talk of a working Jalopy on the other side of the train station.

You wake up in a room. Adjoining it are other rooms and guess what? There are zombies in them. Keep going from room to room until you find the escape.

Starting in a corridor, make your way through the facility until you find your squad.

They seem pretty pleased to see you, so they are either really lonely or you are a hero for killing all those Combine soldiers and zombies!

Either way, don’t expect a quick run through the place without encountering some resistance. Good Luck!

Where would you be without Barney? That Beer Buddy just keeps coming to your rescue.

You start in a calm city square, but things turn a little more action packed within a few moments.

Listen to Barney, he knows what to do.

You find yourself stuck down a mine shaft. Alyx looks on and offers you hope. Take the gravity gun and use the traps the miners left to kill anything that stands in your way.

You find yourself in what looks like a prison but it’s much more industrial than most. Clearly you need to escape and that is easier said than done.

You get to leave the prison and feel the fresh air on your face but not for too long. Keep the faith as you will eventually see the light of day again, but you might wish you hadn’t.

The Evil normally maps for CS:S but decided to try his hand at some HL2. Th action takes place in a large Combine facility with plenty of walkways and huge drops.

There are possibly more Combine Elite Guards in these two shortish maps than in the whole of the Half-Life series. No, really, I’m serious.

Not for the faint hearted

You’ve got plenty of ammo, health, suit power and weapons.
That’s the good news.
The bad news is that there are plenty of antlions, Combine soldiers and dropships.
How many enemies can you kill and how long can you stay alive?

There are over 35 maps included, most with combat.

Starting on what seems to be some form of artificial island, you need to keep working your way through the complex until a pod comes to rescue you.

There are a number of small puzzles along the way, as well as some interesting combat.

You go deeper and deeper into the complex until one final battle. Can you survive?

Here are all the entries for my HunterVille mapping competition. I would like to thank everybody who entered.

I consider it a HUGE success and as you will see when you play the maps, the quality and ideas were truly amazing. I had real trouble picking a winner and I suppose in many ways, that’s a great position to be in. I feel some pride in thinking that my competition has encouraged the mappers to make and release these maps.
