Well, here it is. The entries from the CrossbowVille mapping Competition.

The objective was to create an interesting release that used the Crossbow as the main weapon.

The mod contains 3 entries, with varying styles.

You have been given a mission of entering a military base and destroying a Gargantua.

The base is well protected and you will need to keep your wits about you.

Intelligence suggests there are plenty of weapons and ammo within the base.

You find yourself back in Black Mesa and part of an Army grunt team, although you don’t get to meet many of them.

There’s very little objective, except keep moving forward and stay alive.

Keep looking for the lambda signs and explore every little nook and cranny

You play as a member of a Black Ops team that go into Black Mesa.

Your objective is to clean up.

As always, kill everything in your way.

GravityGunVille was a mapping competition that required entrants to make maps that featured the Gravity Gun and one other weapon.

This mod contains 9 entries and most entries decided to focus more on puzzles than combat.

Let’s get straight to the point…

You don’t know much at the beginning.

You can’t remember anything from your previous life or how you came into this cage of glass in which you have been living several weeks and in which these scientists have performed cruel experiments on you.

But what you know is: you want to get out and pay them back!

Last time you saw him he was talking of “nearly exposing the administrators’ malpractice” and “preventing an accident that could destroy this world”. He wasn’t very specific about anything but he seemed sincere.”
