A story of a modder making a mod sounds a little strange, but that’s what this mod is. However, you spend 95% of your time playing, so don’t worry it’s not just narration or a tutorial.

Please the scenarios you are given and see if you can make it into the sunset.

This map was originally made for a competiton in 11 days. It features an outdoor area with some new models and a couple of Combine Batttles

The final “boss” battle will have you running and jumping for your life!

Author’s Notes: “In this custom single player level for Half-Life 2, Gordon Freeman has been sent to a city that has been taken over by Combine hostiles. He must eliminate all enemy threats and rescue the remaining civilians.

This map was produced for my Final Major Project at University. The look of the map was inspired by the modern architectural styles of the United Arab Emirates.”

This mod allows you to play four short scenarios, all with a variety of enemies and weapons.

Some require looking for keycards, others require run and gun, but all are interesting.

The death of the Nihilanth threw the Xenian army into disarray, and the subsequent portal storms stranded many on Earth in the wake of Combine occupation.

After once more having to endure existence beneath the totalitarian boot of their cosmic nemesis, they have searched for a way out. Now, buried in the heart of a dilapidated university, they’ve found it.

Start in a lobby and explore the Black Mesa Research Facility.

Of course, you will find plenty of enemies and obstacles in your way, so move carefully and pay attention to the signs.

Only the smart and fearless will succeed!

Starting in a dead end of a square, you need to follow the path to some rebels being held captive.

Of course, there are lots of Combine trying to stop you, so relax, the day is just starting.

The level features non-standard HL2 weapons but no new enemies.

You are Frank Harrison, a rebel, who lives near City 17.

You wake up and find that the Citadel looks like it is about to explode and those scientists are urging you to flee the city.

No need to tell you twice! Off you go and good luck – you’ll need it.

A partial conversion of an underground lab where scientists have been experimenting on a new drug to wipe out all forms of infection that humans can aquire.

This mod features some intense action scenes, but most of these come later on, much of the earlier parts of the mod are focused on adventure and storytelling.

Make your way from Station 23 to Station 25, if you can.

“After many wars between the humans and the Combine most of the technology is destroyed so people and Combine join forces against the only unaffected enemy – the undead. Author’s Notes: “This is a single player Half Life 2 mod, set entirely outside of City 17. It features 6 levels of action, exploring a range of locations, non-linear level progression, a musical score, some new abstract textures and challenging gameplay. This mod is meant for those who have already completed Half Life 2″

Caught by the remaining Combine, Gordon Freeman must escape to rescue his imprisoned rebel allies. Aided by the resourceful Dawn and her insurgents, you are sprung from captivity in order to spearhead a staged breakout from the notorious Port Halen Prison.

But before you can get there you must loose your Combine pursuers and make your way through a wilderness long since overrun by the zombified.
