Things take a downward turn after that and you need to retrace your steps quite a few times.
The objective seems to be to reach the highest point in the central shaft and go through the portal.

Starting in a courtyard area, you must work your way through certain parts of the hospital.
It almost seems alive and aware of your presence.
Can you reach the main exit or will you succumb to the horrors that await you.

You wake up in a dark alley, not knowing anything. What has happened anyway? You struggle after the truth and answers.
Answers you want to know in the darkness and fear, which makes your heartbeat race like violent blows against your head.
Where do “they” come from? What has happened? Are you just turning insane?

Gordon Freeman is investigating a recent disappearance of Woodstock’s citizens.
Many people have said that they heard screams at the old Woodstock Manor and Gordon is sent in.
Gordon can’t find the place and arrives late in the night.
A short map that attempts top scare you. The author claims it “make you jump with fear, and hide behind your chair”. Though I humblely suggest this is only true if you are less than 6 years old. It was made as a tribute to Nightmare House 2.
Nightmare House 2 is a free, horror-themed first person shooter modification, and the direct successor of “Nightmare House”.
The story resumes with the player lost and confused in a hospital known as “Never Lose Hope”. With no understanding of how you came to be there, there’s only a vague memory of the mysterious, haunting girl from Nightmare House. Soon it will be difficult to determine between a dream and reality. How long will it take you to realize that escape is not an option?
You start in an empty reception area. Explore the rooms carefully, you never know what you might find.
As you progress you become a little disorientated, but don’t worry, it will pass.
