The 2007 DVD Giveaway
AND THE WINNER IS
I have decide to bring this competition draw forward a week to give the winner a little Christmas surprise. I took all the names of readers who have posted more than 25 comments and put them into a virtual hat (An Excel spreadsheet!) and randomized the order. The name at the top was the winner.
So, without further ado the winner is:
el_espaniol
(Highlight to read- I thought it would add a little tension.
)
Congratulations to him and I’ll send him an email requesting his address and will post the DVD binder as soon as possible..
WOW!
In recognition of my readers reaching over 100,000 downloads I am pleased to announce the 100,000 Giveaway. On the first of January 2008 I will create a list of PlanetPhillip members who have made more than 25 comments. From this list I will randomly select one member to receive…
…my complete collection of 2007 files. Whilst this may not be 100,000 files it will be at least 30,000. The lucky winner will receive a DVD binder with approximately 15 full DVD of every file I have collected in 2007. The binder will also contain DVD cover prints to use in normal size DVD boxes.
I was planning to do this last year but long-term readers may remember my hard drive crash.
The Rules
I suppose there is only one rule and that is the 50 comments must be sensible, useful comments. They can be valid questions, mini-reviews, general discussion about the mods or site, in fact anything as long as they add something valuable to the site’s content.
If new members try to simply comment with something like “I agree!” etc, I won’t count those comments.
Notes
The DVD cover prints will be simple black and white sheets, cut to the correct size for normal DVD case, NOT the slim ones. I decided to do it this way to ensure that the disks were protected inside the binder and because buying DVD cases seems to be very easy and cheap.
Don’t forget to tell your friends and enemies!
I’ve changed the number from 50 to 25 comments. It seemed fairer.
