I really hope they abandoned the “lets model in hammer” philosophy. It looks a lot better than the first one, which I really didn’t enjoy.
Something that stood out is that the outdoor lighting is hideous. There’s zero contrast and it makes it look like a fullbright map.

It’s impossible for us to give an estimate of when it’ll be finished. Even if we have an 80% or so done, there’s always the other 80% (tweaking, playtesting, tweaking some more, easter egg implementation, voice acting with subtitles etc…)

@anon: If you didn’t really enjoy the first one and your taste hasn’t changed, you won’t like this one either (not that anyone cares as much as you think).
We have a modeller now in the team, but we’ll keep making simple furniture in Hammer for as long as we deem fit, and if you don’t like that “philosophy”, you might as well avoid this mod and all news related to it from now on, just so you’re not tempted into being dissapointed again.
Your comments on “The Citizen” should really be in the entry PP made for it and not here. Regardless of where you do comment, it seems you have very litte idea about what lighting, contrast and fullbright really stand for

It’s beyond my expertises to comment on the technicalities but my eyesight is just fine. Definitely not hideous and looks brilliant to me.

I noticed you’re a behind on dialogue. If you’re having trouble finding voice actors, I strongly suggest checking here:

This board has amateur voice actors who just want to have their voices heard in a project like this. You can sign up, make a thread about the project, and include lines for them to make sample audition recordings.

Thanks. We are really more behind on our actual voice actors getting their lines recorded than we are finding voices, but this is certainly something to consider for Random Quest 2!

No.
But there is a posibility of one of your characters having to say a couple of extra lines. We haven’t really made a final decission on that though.
