About

Created to match the art and play style of Quake IV, The Odysseus takes place in a SMC spacecraft under siege by Strogg boarders. The player must make his way through damaged corridors and enemy patrols to reach the hangar - and freedom.

Story

After almost singehandedly winning the battle for Stroggos, the beleaguered Lieutenant Matthew Kane returns to Earth aboard the dreadnought SMC Odysseus under the hopes that his ’stroggification’ may be reversed. Placed into hypersleep for the long voyage, Kane lies helpless as the Odysseus is attacked and boarded by Strogg, only waking when the systems of his sleep capsule are disrupted by the attack. Now Kane must find a way to escape the Odysseus and its captors before the Strogg find him…

Installation
  • Place the included PK4 file in the “q4base” folder within your Quake 4 directory.
  • Start Quake 4.
  • Bring up the console.
  • Type ‘map jb/odysesseus’ into the console and press return.
