Three Gorges Dam – Real Theme

I found these images of the dam on some website and then starting searching for more.

The whole project is incredible and would make a perfect location for a game.

There are so many various locations that could be included, underwater sections, open air vistas, engine rooms etc etc. Anyway, enough effusing, here are the images and links.

    I’ve been following this on and off since it was announced– all the way back when they were deciding if it was worth building (one of those ‘effecting environment VS. peoples energy needs’ debates). I think it majorly effects some species of frog? There’s your game story right there! MUTANT FROGS! How unique is THAT!?

    I’m one to take photos of neat engineering aspects whenever I can too– I have a lot of smaller things like neat pipe systems and all. But if I ever find myself in China, I’ll do the same.

    Philip, I have loved your site for a long while and share your appreciation for the large civil eng projects. however I think it warranted that you warn your readers that the ‘leenks.com’ link site may contain a lot of material that may be considered objectionable if they go beyond the first page you linked to.
