This map was specifically constructed to display unused content for Half-Life: Source and as such requires Half-Life: Source to be viewed. There are no enemies to fight against, it’s just a museum-type map. There is a Gman who speaks, and I don’t recall hearing those words.
A big thank you to Dosia36 for sending me the map and making it another First Seen On PP.

Hey check out Ivan, the Space Biker, who as we all know was the original model for Gordon Freeman.
A fun little diversion this, and definitely worth installing. The downside is it’s made me want to go back and play HL Source all over again. Hurry up, Black Mesa!

BTW, is this the only map/mod for Half-Life Source? I don’t have the original non-source version of Half-Life. Criminal, isn’t it.

Sorry Mike. People either make it for 1.6 or Source (based off of HL2). If you find one tell me, but good luck. Sorry, mate.

Yes.

Nice. I recognize some of those creatures and characters from Raising The Bar. I don’t have HL:Source though, so I won’t be able to play it.

Can any1 tell me where to extract this too?

It goes in the ‘maps’ folder of your Half-Life: Source folder. The path will be something like, C/Program files/Valve/Steam/Steam Apps/Your Username/Half-Life Source/HL1/Maps

Just to let other people know there is a half life source mod on fspbanana.com. Its a coop mod of the single player game that works online. So check it out!

Most maps for HL:S are DeathMatch; yet I found this Coop-map that can be also played solo:

I remember seeing a map almost identical to this years and years ago for the original Half-Life.
As a matter of fact, (from the screen shots) I don’t see anything new that wasn’t in the first map.
I say all that to say that this content isn’t home to HL:S, but rather just leftover content from HL that apparently they still haven’t removed.
Regardless, though, its still kinda cool to see what could have been in the game.

I also just remembered that SvenCoop used that big soldier dude in their mod a few versions back (and years back), before HL2/HL:S was anywhere near release.
They coded in some AI and threw in a few extra animations and touched it up a little bit.

I have played on many maps created by a person called Dosia36. All maps are so amazing. As for me, these maps are the best from all I have ever played on.
