You start in a pit with two crawling zombies and a Stalker. Can you find the way out? If you can then more zombies await you.
Does the pit hold the secret to your escape or will the generator lead to freedom?

[...] Zombie (EP2) [...]

I gave it a Maybe simply because it’s nicely made and I quite enjoyed looking for a way out. Warning: the music contains explicit lyrics. Personally rap music in a map is a complete No No, but I assume the author is young and thinks this is cool.
Visuals
As I said earlier, it’s pretty but quite limited in what it shows.
Gameplay
Kill a few zombies. BTW, the pit nor the generator seem to lead anywhere, I just need something to write in the excerpt! Did anybody find a way out? One strange thing was that the first time I played it (yes, I played it twice but only because I lost the screenshots; DOH!) I had a Hunter in the pit with me. Scared the poop out of me when I turned around and it screamed and charged me – great way to start a map!
Summary
As part of something larger it might have been fun but on its own it’s hard to recommend it. I’ve played worse but if you don’t like very short maps then I would say don’t play it.
Pretty but boring
2nd December 2009
I played it through a few times, and couldn’t find a way out, and in the pit, never came across a hunter. Maybe there’s a “switch” somewhere that I didn’t trigger?
Don’t know! What there is – it seems to be well done in terms of what you see – but there’s no point to it! No target! no aim! Kill the stalker, or not. Kill the zombies, or not.
Makes no difference. The only thing I didn’t try was killing the bird (seagull?). Maybe I’ll try that.
2nd December 2009
I even did that but it didn’t seem to trigger anything.

You killed the bird! You rotten headcrab.
Another Zombie map. Aarrgh!
Pointless and disappointing. Very short.
Some nice scenery if you noclip.
A well made map but rap music – aarrgh!
2nd December 2009
this would have gotten a think twice, but the rap music pushed it to an avoid it. Even just getting rid of the lyrics would have allowed me to consider a Think Twice rating.
I didn’t see any hunters when I played it. Only the 2 zombie torsos and a stalker. If this is the very first map this guy has ever done, then it’s actually pretty decent. Otherwise it looks almost like he was trying to code a specific effect. The zombies moved rather strangely when I shot at them.
What it all boils down to is there isn’t any purpose, there isn’t any challenge, the music is almost comically bad, and there wasn’t any real structure to the layout of the map. It doesn’t crash, but that’s pretty much all it has going for it.

What did I just play?
I’ll start from the basic.
The design is so so, nice lighting and stuff, very weird setting and design choice that I was like (where the hell am I) Yeah, maps aren’t really to have that sort of thing. But a glimpse would’ve helped.
The zombies were pretty easy to kill, I don’t know why to give the player so many weapons to kill around 9 zombies, but you don’t get to kill 3, because the one that’s sleeping on the ground and then awakes he suddenly moves down the ground and other two are standing in the bridge’s catwalks, something like that and they do nothing. There’s a stupid Stalker that basically doesn’t do anything. Many antlion bugs for..no reason.. and why give the player a gravity gun. There’s nothing to throw at enemies.
Very short map, do not even touch the Download button to check it out. I’m not being an asshole, but there’s no point in playing this, it won’t even contribute with fun, and the funk music…seriously?

Nothing to play here..move along
4th May 2010
I started to give this a TT, but after writing my review, changed my mind.
It’s extremely short. The only good thing about it is that when it starts, you hear zombies attacking you but you can’t see them right away. You may as well kill all the zombies, then you can wander around the map–for maybe a minute (that includes falling down below and looking for a way up).
